CFO Consultant (part-time)

Webster Pacific LLC is looking for a CFO Consultant to serve our clients and be a part of the Webster Pacific team.

For our financial services practice, we are actively involved in managing our clients financial and accounting function by providing CFO, controller and bookkeeping services on a part-time basis. Our team’s activities include setting up financial systems, making financial projections, reporting to the board, closing the books, managing payroll, inventory accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

For our strategy consulting work, we help our clients with a myriad of challenges, including the assessment of acquisition opportunities, new market opportunities, equity and debt offerings, cost analysis, operational systems analysis and optimization, as well as various other strategy projects.

Our business has grown and we have a need for a senior person who could lead a client engagement in our financial services / CFO practice.  We have two opportunities that would each require approximately 15-20 hours per week for several months.

Ideal candidate has experience as CFO of an entrepreneurial company.

Webster Pacific’s offices are downtown San Francisco. The location for project work would depends upon client requirements and would be either at the client, at the Webster offices or at the Contractor’s home. Associate Consultant

Webster Pacific LLC is looking for an intelligent, eager and energetic person to work as an Associate Consultant, starting immediately.  The responsibilities for this position will include  financial and quantitative analysis, market analysis, data gathering, general strategic problem solving and project management, as well as some administrative work and bookkeeping for both Webster Pacific and clients.

Webster Pacific is a strategic and financial consulting firm serving entrepreneurs of small to medium-sized businesses. Our clients are in a variety of industries, including forest products, educational services, alternative energy, internet software, non-profit services and specialty foods. Recent projects have included business strategy, development of reporting and information systems, data analysis and modeling and operations optimization. 

We are looking for someone with very strong analytical skills, highly organized, capable of managing several ongoing projects at a time and ready to hit the ground running.  In addition, ideal candidate is intelligent, curious, quantitative, self-motivated, enthusiastic, personable and thorough.  A love of data and experience with Excel are desirable.
